PROVEN SUCCESS WITH OUR REMOTE WORKER WORKSHOPS – I am incredibly proud and heartened to share the transformative impact of our Remote Worker workshops we have conducted June 2022- June 2023, that are now being managed with Zen and Betty at Remote Work Agency. The audience for these workshops are individuals in underserved rural communities.  I am thrilled to report the remarkable success we have achieved. Our workshops represent our mission to bridge the gap between limited job prospects in rural areas and the broad world of remote work possibility. The workshops provide participants with invaluable skills and insights, enabling them to secure remote employment opportunities. From first-hand experience, the employers presenting their job opportunities have conducted first interviews with our workshop participants.

What sets our workshops apart is their effectiveness. In these workshops, we have witnessed remarkable success stories, with an astounding 40% of our participants securing employment. This achievement is not just a statistic; it represents real, tangible change in the lives of those who often faced daunting employment challenges. It also represents income staying in a community, supporting a local economy that is frequently overlooked. The Montana communities experiencing this impact include Thompson Falls, Libby, Bozeman, Butte, Helena and many small towns in between.

But it’s not just about the numbers; it’s about the stories behind them. Witnessing individuals from underserved rural communities break through barriers and achieve economic stability is truly heartwarming – one of the key feedbacks provided is how a participants’ confidence grew because of completing our workshop – now they are confident in their abilities to seek remote employment. Our workshops empower our participants with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in the digital economy, regardless of their geographic location.

What we have seen with participants is that attending these workshops isn’t just about finding a job: It is about gaining independence, freedom and financial stability that remote work can provide. Our workshop participants gain access to a world of opportunities, change their lives, and contribute to the vitality of their communities. At the Montana Business Assistance Center (MBAC) in Helena, we are honored to be a part of this transformative journey and remain committed to empowering even more individuals in underserved rural areas to secure fulfilling remote work opportunities in the future.” Chris Manos, Workforce Development Specialist, MT Business Assistance Connection/MBAC, Gateway Economic Development District/GEDD

WITNESSING FIRST HAND THE IMPACT OF REMOTE JOBS IN OUR RURAL COMMUNITY – I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Remote Work Agency for their outstanding commitment to training and employment solutions tailored for rural communities. As an economic developer for Sanders County (Montana), I have witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of their programs on our residents, many of whom face significant barriers to employment. In today’s rapidly evolving job market, the ability to work remotely has become an invaluable asset. Remote Work Agency recognizes this potential and has been instrumental in bridging the gap between our community members and the global workforce. Their comprehensive training programs not only equip individuals with the skills necessary to thrive in remote positions but also instill a sense of confidence and self-worth that is often lacking in marginalized communities.

What sets Remote Work Agency apart is their established relationships with employers actively seeking to hire. This symbiotic network ensures that the training provided is both relevant and immediately actionable, leading to tangible employment opportunities for our residents.

Sanders County, like many rural areas, faces unique challenges when it comes to employment. Traditional job opportunities are limited, and the barriers to entry can be daunting. Remote Work Agency has proven time and again that with the right training and support, these barriers can be overcome. Their dedication to our community’s success is evident in the countless success stories and positive feedback we receive from participants.

In conclusion, I cannot speak highly enough of Remote Work Agency and the positive impact they have had on Sanders County. Their dedication to empowering individuals and fostering economic growth aligns perfectly with our mission, and I am confident that any community or organization would benefit immensely from their expertise. GETTING A GOOD PAYING JOB WORKING FROM HOME IN MY VERY SMALL MONTANA TOWN – I can’t express how grateful I am for the remote worker workshop I attended in the late Spring of 2022. When I first signed up, I wasn’t sure what to expect, especially coming from a rural area in Montana. But those 30 hours transformed my life.

The workshop was very thorough and covered everything from the basics of remote work to interview coaching, to understanding the online skills I need for a remote job. The trainers (April and Billy) were incredibly knowledgeable and also extremely patient and understanding with each of us in the workshop! They took the time to address every one of our questions and concerns, even the smallest questions, making sure we felt confident in our remote work abilities. I felt very comfortable asking these questions because some of this stuff was so new to me.

The practical skills I gained during the workshop were invaluable. I learned how to get setup for work in my spare room, manage my time efficiently, and communicate effectively in a virtual team. I also gained a clear understanding of what to expect in the remote work world – which I was a bit intimidated with honestly. When the employer representatives presented at the end of the workshop, I was surprised at what they were offering – including benefits, equipment and a better hourly wage than what I can get in my local community. There was also a wide range of jobs available – I really didn’t know this before doing this workshop – there were jobs that were more than just ‘customer service’.

But the best part of this workshop? I was interviewed by an employer during the workshop. Then with April’s support, I submitted my online application then the employer did another interview with me after the workshop. Then they offered me a good paying remote job shortly afterwards. During the workshop, April helped me to write my resume and guided me through the online application process. Now after 9 months of employment, I have a stable income that allows me to support my family without having to move to a larger town or spend hours each day commuting. If I could recommend one thing to anyone interested in this workshop, is don’t hesitate. It is a life-changing experience that opens up new opportunities and allows you to embrace the benefits of remote work, no matter where you live. Anonymous by request.
