Absolutely! Our training programs are designed to cater to individuals at various stages of their remote work journey. Whether you are a seasoned professional looking to transition to remote work, a fresh graduate seeking remote-based opportunities or someone considering a change of work style, our courses are tailored to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge. We cover fundamental remote work concepts and provide practical guidance to help you succeed and clarify expectations regardless of your prior experience in remote work environments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR OUR INTRODUCTION WORKSHOP – You will need to be over 18 years of age and have completed your High School diploma or can provide evidence that you are undertaking your Hi-Set qualification. Each employe has specific minimum requirements they will share during the workshop. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT FOR OUR EXPRESS ADD-ON – You will need to have completed the Montana State University ROI course.

Employers have requirements for internet speeds to ensure successful uploads and downloads of files. The internet offers several websites that provide free Wi-Fi speed tests. Sites include: Speedtest.net, Fast.com, or CloudFlare. Each test should take 60 seconds or less, providing download and upload speeds. Google the phrase “checking internet speed” for more free options. For best results and a bit of fun,  check your internet speed across some of the sites. 

Contact Zen directly to arrange payment. We accept checks and will send an invoice for your records. We also accept bank transfers and can provide the routing and account numbers for you to transfer the fee to. We are introducing an e-payment platform that will transact credit cards.  Currently we do not accept cash, nor online payment platforms through social media – but this might change over time. 

The duration of our training program varies depending on the specific course you choose. Our basic (and most popular) training course. “Introduction Workshop” is 30 hours in one week. In this course you will learn about technology platforms skills used in remote work, update your resume and submit job applications.  

We know that many participants have other obligations on their time – some expected and sometimes unexpected. It is best to schedule your time to attend each day of the workshop Monday – Friday from 9am – 4pm to gain the most from the training. It is your responsibility to communicate your needs and circumstances to the trainer. We are not able to re-teach the content of the day you are not in attendance due to the structure of the workshop and real-time activities. There are no refunds on the workshop fee if you miss a day and do not complete all days of the training.

At Remote Work Agency, our professional support begins when you join the course. You are supported with coaching and skills development to support online applications. After the workshop, we continue to support you  to locate a suitable remote job – sometimes this can take weeks, but we work with you. Many of our participants have also kept in touch as they changes jobs and pursue promotions. Additionally, we offer career coaching services to help you navigate the remote job market, refine your application materials, and prepare for interviews.

Remote work is like any other job and in our network, the work is based on a regular schedule. Almost all jobs are full-time, requiring reliable internet access, and in many jobs, being able to work in an environment with minimal interruptions (like a room with a door that can be closed). Each job is different and each employer has different expectations for your work schedule. If you need exceptions to the training schedule (such as leaving a little bit early for school kids pickup), make sure to communicate this need on the first day of class or via email to your instructor. 

To be productive in our courses, you will need a laptop or desktop device loaded with the Microsoft Word application. The training runs for 5 days (Monday – Friday), typically from 9am – 4pm with an hour break for lunch. There is no homework in the training course as all activities are completed during the training time. Sometimes the day of training can finish early, depending on the experience of the participants. 

Cable and fiber-optic internet services are your best bets for fast internet speeds. Fiber-optic internet is also a great choice for speed consistency! Mobile 5G networks are a great alternative in remote places if they are available. 

A good benchmark is a minimum of 50 to 100 Mbps download speeds for working from home, and at least 10 Mbps upload speeds if you upload large files to the internet. Dial-up internet is not suitable. Working on your phone as a hot-spot is also not suitable for internet speeds and remote work.
